Housing Insights is a tool that provides information about subsidized affordable housing projects in the Washington DC region. The platform combines data on subsidized housing with additional context such as public transit access, zoning, and neighborhood characteristics to make it easier for policymakers and advocates to understand the full range of factors involved in keeping housing affordable.
It was developed through collaboration with the DC Department of Housing and Community Development, the Urban Institute’s NeighborhoodInfo DC, CNHED, and Living Cities.
